David Petersen, Co-founder

David has accrued over 25 years of project and client relationship management in both residential and commercial construction, encompassing projects throughout North America and into The Caribbean.

David’s consulting business aligns his hands-on project experience with the Integrated Design Process. His collaboration with Sustainable Buildings Canada® and their Savings By Design™ program has allowed him to add value to over 200 projects as part of a team of energy modelers, engineers, architects and other design professionals, providing better-than-code performance (including Net Zero Energy and Passive House projects) while maintaining constructability and first cost considerations in the built environment.

David maintains an active relationship with academia, teaching course content for the Canada Green Building Council’s SBA program and has been a guest lecturer at George Brown Colleges School for Architectural Studies.

Kent Foster, Co-Founder

Kent Foster is a forward thinking, visionary leader with a desire to bring a fresh new perspective to design and development.

Kent has worked with firms such as Calgary based S2 Architecture and the Edmonton based, now Global, Stantec Architecture. Kent has over 10 years of experience in Architecture and Design for both residential and commercial projects.

As a Graduate Architect from The University of Calgary, Kent has designed and overseen the construction of projects which include Fire Halls, Elementary and High Schools, Theaters and single-family homes.

Kent’s approach lies in his commitment to thoughtful and functional design at any scale or budget.
